More Renault Midlums for the AA

The AA’s breakdown service is adding 56 new Euro 4 Renault Midlums to its 300-strong fleet, through Renault Trucks South. The new vehicles, consisting of 42 Renault Midlum 190.10s and 14 Renault Midlum 220.12s, all have crew cabs and all will be on the road before the end of October. The company has also taken 6 Renault Mascotts on a trial basis.

The Renault Midlums, which will be used as recovery vehicles nationwide, will be replacing Ivecos and some older Renault trucks as well as expanding the recovery fleet further.

Gary Evans, Fleet Operations, the AA says: “The Renault Midlum has been an important part of our fleet for a number of years. Its spacious crew cab allows us to transport members safely and comfortably, which was a key purchase decision. We were given a very good finance deal by Renault Trucks South and have established a good relationship with them over the years. We added 45 new Renault Midlums to our fleet last year and are pleased to be adding more this year.”
