Meet Bubbles and Suds – linen company’s new Renault Premiums Lincolnshire based linen and laundry company, Bourne Textile Services, has taken delivery of two new Renault Premium Distribution 240.18s, through recently appointed Renault Trucks distributor, The Welch Group. The trucks, which have a bespoke GRP body, will be used for the collection and delivery of hired linen and chefs’ wear for the hotel and leisure industry.

In an important conquest deal for Renault Trucks and The Welch Group, the Premiums are the first Renaults to join the company’s fleet. The new trucks are also the first to be given Bourne Textiles Services’ striking new livery and have been officially ‘named’ by the company - ‘Bubbles’ and ‘Suds’ are the latest additions to its 32-strong fleet.

Tony Dewey, Transport Manager, Bourne Textile Services, says: “The company is going from strength to strength and due to increasing demand from our customers we needed reliable, quality trucks quickly. Renault Trucks and The Welch Group understood the urgency of the situation and supplied the vehicles in just five weeks. We are extremely pleased with the Renault Premiums and feel that they are an excellent choice of truck to launch our new company image.”

Established in 1932 Bourne Textile Services is a private, family owned business and a leading supplier of textile services in the East Midlands and East Anglia region. The company has 300 employees and services a complete cross section of customers, from 500 bedroom international hotels to smaller independent hotels and specialist restaurants with a varied range of linen and chefs’ wear.
