11th March 2009 Print
Renault Trucks Renault Trucks has just won a considerable part of an invitation to tender launched in 2008 by the UGAP (Union des Groupements d'Achats Publics - Public Authority Procurement Group).

This will be valid for 36 months and involve a total of 1,500 vehicles for six new markets designed to replace UGAP's range of available HGVs.

The following models were chosen as a result of the invitation to tender: the compact, multi-purpose Maxity chassis (Delivery range), the Midlum and Premium rigid chassis (Distribution range), the Premium Lander and also the Kerax worksite tractors or rigids (Construction range).

Annual volume is estimated at 500 vehicles.

The UGAP is a public trading group, which resells its equipment to French Public and Local Authorities. It is represented throughout the country via its various regional agencies, and has set up a sales force dedicated to commercial vehicles.

This choice clearly demonstrates Renault Trucks products' competitiveness and the confidence public authorities have in the brand.
