Renault Premiums for Dennis Distribution

Chilled and frozen food distributor, Dennis Distribution, has taken delivery of two new Euro 5 Renault Premium 450 tractor units.

In an important conquest deal for Renault Trucks and Renault Trucks’ distributor, Thompson Commercials, they are the first Renaults to join the company’s 33-strong mixed fleet of Iveco and Volvo.

The trucks will be used to undertake temperature controlled distribution, nationwide, for over 30 high profile customers, including well known supermarket chains.

Richard Dale, Transport Manager and Partner, Dennis Distribution, says that the company was attracted to Renault Trucks through recommendations from other hauliers: “We saw a growing number of local hauliers were adding Renaults to their fleets and so started looking into the benefits of Renault and we liked what we saw – a high quality product at a competitive price.”

Dennis Distribution is based in Malton, North Yorkshire and was established in 1958. Its fleet is maintained at its in-house facility in Malton and consists of 33 tractors and over 60 trailers. The company offers temperature controlled distribution of chilled and frozen products, including hanging meat trailers. Dennis Distribution operates 24/7 across the whole of mainland UK.
