Clarion maps the way forward

Combining razor-sharp design with leading-edge technology, Clarion’s MAP770, MAP670 and MAP370 PND offer customers a wide range of features to suit varying needs, at a price that makes finding your way, clear and affordable.
New for 2007, the Clarion MAP770 and MAP670 portable sat. nav. harness the benefits of Bluetooth, making it straight forward and safe to take and receive phone calls on the move.
Also new for 2007 is an impressive 4.3” TFT LCD touch-screen that displays route information instantly – thanks to a 400MHz processor - whilst the inclusion of smart zoom technology means each manoeuvre is displayed more clearly, zooming in as you approach a turn before zooming out again once it is completed.
Incorporating a mighty 2GB memory, the MAP770 provides total motorway, major and minor road coverage across 28 European countries, whilst the impressive memory capability allows for 25 navigation voice and on-screen command languages, making it easier to conquer Europe than ever before.
Clarion’s MAP670 model looks to all corners of the UK, and features a 512MB memory to power numerous new route assistance tools – such as ‘avoid toll roads, U-turns, unpaved roads’ – as well as the built-in TMC tuner providing real-time traffic updates, whilst Clarion has again harnessed its audio-visual expertise to incorporate a handy MP3 player and personal Picture Viewer.
The UK-oriented entry-level MAP370 boasts a host of functions, all accessible via a 3.5” TFT intuitive LCD touch-screen, with full UK postcode search capability, 2D and 3D map view options, quicker re-routing should you take a wrong turn, and an invaluable safety-led speed limit information feature.
Highlighting its incredible value, Clarion’s MAP370 also boasts the MP3 player, and features a built-in speaker and headphone jack to help deliver clear and concise instructions in navigation set-up as well as MP3 mode.
All three new PND units feature an impressive set of POI (places of interest) as standard, divided into over 50 categories – such as transportation, entertainment, recreation, shopping, culture etc – whilst more can be uploaded and stored in the ‘My POI’ feature.
The MAP370 comes with a gooseneck mounting bracket for quick and easy installation on the window or dash, whilst the MA770 and MAP670 feature an advanced mounting bracket for a more streamlined integration, with all three units coming complete with cradle and charger.
The MAP770, MAP670 and MAP370 are priced at RRP £289, £249 and £179 respectively, and are available from specialist Clarion appointed dealers across the UK. For more information, visit clarion.co.uk.
