Vehicle tracking leader achieves national recognition

The company, which currently supports nearly 800 clients operating both small and major vehicle fleets, is one of just 10 companies to have been short-listed for the ‘Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award’ which is open to organisations with less than £10 million turnover in their last financial year. The award recognises companies which have achieved significant growth and outstanding innovation in their market sector, under-pinned by strong financial results.
Over 5,000 vehicles are now using Quartix’s satellite tracking system, which is purpose built to help both small and large companies reduce their vehicle running costs as well as providing accurate and detailed information that allows them to increase their productivity.
"We’re facing some stiff opposition from a number of household brands and high calibre companies, but we’re also understandably delighted to be the only company directly supporting the fleet industry to be officially recognised by the judges this year," said Quartix’s sales and marketing director Andy Kirk.
"Our objective has been to develop a vehicle tracking system that’s very simple and completely focussed on helping fleet professionals to make sure their vehicles are running as efficiently as possible as well as tackling all the operating costs which can adversely affect the bottom line. This straightforward approach to vehicle tracking technology has impressed the judges and we’re looking forward to attending the awards ceremony in November."
