12th June 2007 Print
National Car Rental has signed a major new deal with Zenith Vehicle Contracts, one of the UK’s leading independent fleet management specialists. Under the new agreement, National will be sole supplier of rental solutions, building on a 10 year relationship with Zenith.

As a specialist provider of tailored fleet management services for major blue chip organisations, Zenith needed a rental provider with proven experience of meeting the changing needs of large organisations.

National was selected for the contract based on the flexibility and reliability of its IT platform, enabling systems integration with epyx 1 link, Zenith’s IT system, combined with its proven consistency in delivering high levels of customer care.

Andrew Cope, CEO of Zenith, comments, “The fact that National’s systems can integrate with our own was a key factor in winning this contract, ensuring our clients benefit from a seamless delivery of service. Through this partnership with National, Zenith will continue to develop its rental offering, providing our clients with market leading solutions that combine innovation and technology to streamline systems and reduce costs, as well as making use of key management information. National will provide us with the resources to implement key stages of our expansion into the rental market.”

Lorraine Farnon, Divisional Vice President and UK Sales Director for National concludes, “This is yet another key win for National and once again reflects our position at the forefront of rental technology and fleet management solutions. We will be working closely with Zenith to bring its clients high quality rental services, helping it stay ahead of the competition by enhancing new and existing business relationships.”
