Lex explores collaboration with The Highways Agency

Lex is in discussions with The Highways Agency to explore ways of working together for the benefit of UK business drivers.

In the coming months Lex and the Highways Agency are looking to develop initiatives for the benefit of Lex customers and business motorists in general to help achieve common objectives in terms of journey planning and safety.

As part of a fact finding exercise senior Highways Agency managers have visited Lex to gain an understanding of the operations and responsibilities of the UK’s leading contract hire supplier.

The Lex senior management team, led by Managing Director Jon Walden, visited the Agency’s National Traffic Control Centre at Birmingham to learn more about how the country’s major road networks are managed and the Agency’s objectives and future plans.

Jon Walden said ‘We are continually looking at ways we can improve the on the road experience for our customers. The Highways Agency is committed to helping drivers on safer, more reliable journeys on motorways and major A roads.”
