cleangreencars.co.uk show the future of green motoring at Goodwood

This year’s Festival of Speed will feature a unique new attraction. FoS-TECH is a state-of-the-art technology exhibition focusing on the future of motoring and environmental issues. It will showcase a variety of exciting new technologies from motor manufacturers, design specialists, oil companies and other motor industry suppliers.

The exhibition has been created by cleangreencars.co.uk to showcase what motorists can expect to be driving in the next decade – designs that radically cut the environmental impact of motoring. Comments Jay Nagley, publisher of cleangreencars.co.uk, “Goodwood is the perfect venue to present the future of green motoring. The debate about cars and the environment has been far too polarized in the past, with extremists on one side trying to ignore green issues and extremists on the other side portraying the car as irredeemably evil. FoS-TECH shows how cars can and will radically improve their environmental performance.”

FoS-Tech will be probably the largest single exhibition of environmentally-friendly cars ever put together in the UK. As well as showing exciting and radical concept cars, the exhibition shows models that will soon be seen on the road, such as the fascinating Tesla electric sports car and the hydrogen-powered BMW 7 Series. There are also hybrid sports car designs which will lead to production models within three years. As Richard Bremner, editor of cleangreencars.co.uk, says, “Car enthusiasts are worried that green issues spell the end of motoring as we know it. This exhibition should not only reassure them, it should inspire them that cars are set to get more interesting, not less.”
