uSwitch.com: top utilities website 2007

Independent price comparison and switching service, uSwitch.com, has won an award for being the leading utilities website in 2007.

Its number one ranking in the Hitwise Top 10 Awards - based on the number of visits it attracted throughout 2007 - saw it take the top slot above major suppliers and rival comparison sites too.

The Hitwise Online Performance Awards - run by online competitive intelligence company, Hitwise - celebrate the most successful UK websites in more than 50 industries, based on the market share of UK visits received throughout 2007. uSwitch.com achieved the number one slot in the Business and Finance - Utilities category, above industry heavyweights such as British Gas (ranked second) and E.ON (ranked third).
