Multifit GasSaver from Baxi

A thermal store of condensate from the waste flue gases is collected within the GasSaver. Heat from this condensate store is then recycled to pre-heat water coming into the boiler from the cold mains supply, significantly reducing the amount of gas required by the boiler to heat the water. This means lower energy bills for the householder and greater carbon savings.
Multifit GasSaver increases boiler efficiency, saving between 37 and 50 per cent of the gas used to heat hot water annually, depending on the efficiency of the boiler, according to tests conducted by an independent scientific test house. It can save in excess of £135 per annum on fuel bills when linked to a Baxi Group Band A combination boiler. The calculation is based on an average household’s consumption of 100 litres of hot water per day.
In addition, the Multifit GasSaver reduces water usage in the dwelling and increases the hot water flow rate.
It is an easy to install low carbon solution, offering up to 700kg carbon emissions saving compared to a standard efficiency boiler. With no controls, settings or moving parts, it is maintenance free and does not require servicing. By selecting the GasSaver in conjunction with other low-cost measures, the cost of achieving Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes can be minimised.
Multifit GasSaver uses technology developed by Zenex and Baxi Group to meet the requirements of the UK social housing and newbuild sectors. It is manufactured on a dedicated production line at Baxi Group’s UK manufacturing facility in Preston.
