All going on a safe summer holiday

11th July 2007 Print
All going on a safe summer holiday As thousands of families across the UK hit the road to head off on their summer holidays, car care company, Comma, is helping motorists ensure a safe journey.

The average car incurs a puncture every 38,000 miles. In the UK, over 7 million cars – one in four on the road – will pick up a flat tyre every year.

Comma is launching its brand new Tyre Seal aerosol, which temporarily repairs punctures and re-inflates the tyre, allowing the car to be driven to a location where the wheel can be safely changed.

Given the inherent dangers of changing a wheel by the roadside or on the hard shoulder, Comma Tyre Seal is an emergency lifeline for the driver.

Applied quickly and simply through the tyre valve, via an applicator tube that turns through 360 degrees for ease of use, Tyre Seal instantly plugs the puncture with an air-curing, latex-based emulsion and re-inflates the tyre. This offers a fix for long enough to either find a safe spot to stop, or drive directly to a tyre repair facility to have the tyre replaced.

Comma Tyre Seal costs £6.99 for a 400ml aerosol.
