New Peugeot 107 achieves 4-star euro NCAP rating The new Peugeot 107 scores well in the latest round of Euro NCAP tests, achieving a 4-star rating and 26-point score – a high score for ‘B’ segment small cars. The Peugeot 107 has also been awarded a 2-star (14-points) rating for pedestrian safety and 3-stars (36-points) for child protection.

The Peugeot 107 was primarily designed to optimise safety features from the outset, within its compact 3.43 metre length. SMART driver and passenger airbags combine with front side airbags, ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD) and Cornering Stability Control (CSC), to provide Peugeot 107 owners with high levels of safety protection in active and passive driving conditions.

The Peugeot 107 is a well-equipped, stylish 3- and 5-door hatchback, standardising many extra features over conventional entry-model competitors. The £6,995 3-door model includes central door locking, electric front windows, SMART airbags and a radio/CD player with MP3 connection. Its lively 1.0-litre engine gives the Peugeot 107 68.8mpg economy or a potential 100mph top speed.
