National cements strong relationship with CEMEX

26th July 2007 Print
National Car Rental has secured a major new deal with global building-solutions company, CEMEX. The two year contract will initially encompass the provision of all vehicle rental services to the CEMEX operations in the UK and France, with plans to roll out to other countries within the EMEA region as the needs of CEMEX’s business change and grow.

This latest contract win reflects the strong working relationship between the two companies, established over the past three years. It is also testament to the quality of service delivered by National in providing cost-effective vehicle solutions to CEMEX in the UK.

As a rapidly growing business with operations in more than 50 countries and across four continents, in recent years CEMEX has developed a greater need for short term rental solutions. This has particularly been the case in respect of accommodating increasing numbers of international visitors to the UK. National has consistently provided a flexible solution to meet this need, demonstrating an outstanding level of service and performance.

According to CEMEX, National is a good vehicle rental partner based on its made-to-measure service and understanding of the building materials business in the EMEA.

CEMEX also chose National based on its reservation technology, such as its online booking systems, which makes it easier as the company continues to grow.

David McNeill, Head of EMEA International Corporate Accounts concludes: “We are delighted that CEMEX has selected us to work with them on a pan-European scale. This contract really shows the scope and breadth of National’s services globally, as well as illustrating our commitment to ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. We look forward to working closely with CEMEX as we roll out vehicle rental solutions across their EMEA operations, and to introducing them to some of our market leading technology to make the whole rental experience even easier.”
