Jewelultra growing from strength to strength at home and abroad
It may have been the worst summer on record but for Kent based company Jewelultra 2007 it has been their best yet.The makers of the world renowned paint protection process Diamondbrite have been seeing off the competition to become the first choice of hundreds of dealerships across the UK and abroad.
The wholly British product, which was first developed in 1978, uses a unique patented process to protect vehicle paintwork from the damage caused by environmental factors such as road salts, traffic film, acid rain, atmospheric pollutants and the damaging effects of ultraviolet light. The high gloss protective layer also maintains a car’s showroom shine without the need for polishing for a guaranteed six years.
The obvious benefit of using the Diamondbrite range has struck a chord with dealer groups in the UK as they see the difference it makes to their customers and their profits.
Paul Manning of Drive Motor Retail, who said: “We have been very successful with the product. Jewelultra give us all the support we need and the product quality is excellent. We are achieving an overall penetration on sales of approximately 35% on new and used cars. Diamondbrite has not only enhanced our customer satisfaction levels but is also extremely profitable to our company.”
Peter Larsson, of Ford Retail, said “Diamondbrite are Polar Fords 1st choice in customer paint and fabric care. They offer complete premium guaranteed care for our customers to ensure our Ford vehicles remain protected and also retain that showroom appearance. Through working closely with Diamondbrite we have improved our sales performance by some 50%, therefore improving our group’s overall profitability.”
David Crane Commercial Director at Bristol Street Motors, who said “We have been offering Diamondbrite to our customers for over 4 years now and in that time we have been very successful with the product. Jewelultra give us all the support we need and the product quality is excellent. We are now achieving a strong overall penetration on the product. This has not only enhanced our customer satisfaction levels but is also a very worthwhile profit generator.”
Paul Knight CEO of the Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA) said after choosing Diamondbrite: “This was an important choice for us given the fact that new and used vehicle margins are under pressure and paint and fabric protection is a huge opportunity to our members.
We wanted a company and product that could give our members superior quality, a product range that was competitive with many options and most importantly ongoing support which was second to none. After lengthy negotiations and trial process we felt Jewelultra was the company and Diamondbrite the product that could give our members exactly what they wanted.”
Not content with their success in the highly competitive UK market Jewelultra have been taking the world by storm with this year seeing their biggest growth to date overseas. Already a strong presence in Holland, Poland, Sweden, Norway and Germany the Jewelultra name has become synonymous with quality and reliability in the Middle East, China and Malaysia.
In May this year Jewelultra was launched in India where Managing Director, John Boseley, found his trip turning into something of a diplomatic coup when a meeting scheduled for just 30 minutes with the British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr Ian Mason, turned into a 3-hour discussion about Jewelultra’s world class products.
John said: "We see great potential for our core product Diamondbrite in India because of the way the market here is growing. India is expected to have a higher volume of cars with each passing year and Indian consumers are becoming aware of the pride and necessity to own a clean and well-presented car.
“World-renowned cars being manufactured in India are already enjoying the benefits of Diamondbrite in the Middle East. Diamondbrite ensures that the vehicle retains the showroom appearance for many years, protects the paint from damage caused by sunlight, fallout from factories and provides initial protection against bird lime. Besides it increases a car's resale value because it maintains the straight-from-showroom look!"
Jewelultra is launching its range in India in partnership with Sam Ramaswamy who is Director of India Operations for Jewelultra Ltd. The launch in Chennai, formerly known as Madras, in Southern India, was attended by a large number of Indian Press and members of the wider business community. Jewelultra representatives then went on to tour Toyota’s newest factory in Bangalore.
