Avis & Ai Claims Solutions announce contract agreement

Avis (UK) announced today that Ai Claims Solutions has been awarded a three year contract to fully supply accident damage services for its rental fleet. Avis projects an estimated 30,000 incidents and 5,000 repairs per annum to be serviced when fully established.

Ai’s product is an outsourced end to end claims handling facility for the motor insurance market. Ai’s claims management services include the most successful intervention scheme currently available, a national engineering, repair and replacement vehicle network, uninsured loss recovery, total loss and personal injury referral service. Because of the flexibility in its operational model Ai was able to offer Avis a tailored package to suit its individual needs.

Daniel McCarthy continued “This contract compliments the recently acquired two year agreement between ourselves and Ai whereby we are Ai’s strategic fleet partner responsible for the supply of vehicles to meet the requirements of Ai’s contracted mobility agreements. During the tender process it became clear to us that Ai were the best partner providing a combined accident damage repair service alongside a proven ability to recover costs from third party insurers.
