Triumph TR5 As this year's NEC Classic Motor Show draws closer, Meguiar's, the show's official partner, has announced five more stunning entrants to the new Meguiar's Club Showcase to join the four already confirmed.

The latest marque winners, hoping to gain the coveted 'Meguiar's Car of the Year' award, are Mercedes-Benz National Day 'Supreme Master Class' winning 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, the TR Register International 'Master Class' winner, a 1968 Triumph TR5, the NSRA 'Participants Choice' winner, a 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe, the BMW Festival's 'Best in Show' 1988 BMW E30 M3 and the JEC 'Overall Concours Winner 2007, a 1960 Jaguar XK 140.

These will line up alongside the 1955 Volkswagen Beetle, 1982 Volkswagen Golf GTI, 1963 Mk1 Jensen CV8 and 1938 VA Tickford DHC which have already confirmed their places in this year's event.

Thirteen different marques will feature in the final showcase, each one having been awarded the top honour at one of the 2007 marque national shows, by fellow club members. With nine sought after places now filled there are only four left up for grabs.

The Meguiar's Club Showcase will be a major feature throughout the NEC Classic Motor Show from November 9-11 2007. During the show, an independent judging team will have the daunting task of selecting the "Champion of Champions' from the thirteen finalists - one car to represent the very pinnacle of this year's national club concours scene.
