Resolution discounts front end charges across range
From 1st Feb until 30th April 2007 investors and their advisers will be able to take advantage of a reduced front end charge on all ISA investments made into any Resolution equity, fixed interest or property unit trust.The front end charge of 5.25% on equity funds and the commercial property unit trust, and 4.25% on bond funds, will be discounted to 3% for investments into ISAs throughout the offer period when purchased through the Fidelity FundsNetwork and Cofunds platforms.
A recent change to its redemption terms allows ISA investors to put money into Resolution’s commercial property fund for the first time. The ISA discount will also apply to the European and UK equity boutique funds managed by Argonaut and Cartesian.
Argonaut’s AAA rated European fund manager Barry Norris manages the £341m Resolution Argonaut European Alpha Fund which has produced returns of +72.6% since its launch in May 2005. Norris has outperformed the Europe Ex UK sector average by over 25%.
Oliver Russ, manages the £192.8m ResolutionAsset Argonaut European Income Fund. This fund, which is currently yielding 4.0% net has been very well-received by the intermediary market and is the only true European equity income fund available to UK investors.
The ResolutionAsset Cartesian UK Opportunities fund is managed by specialist fund managers David Stevenson and Andrew Kelly. Launched at the end of 2005, the fund produced top decile performance returning 28.2% in its first year and attracted over £70m in assets. It was also awarded an A-rating by Forsyth-OBSR.
The Standard & Poors AA rated ResolutionAsset Corporate Bond fund continues to consistently produce top quartile income and is the only fund to do so in each of the last discrete 10 years. The fund also scores highly for investors seeking growth, having produced top quartile growth over 1, 5, 7 and 10 years. The fund is run by Citywire AA rated Joe McKenna.
The ResolutionAsset Pacific Growth Fund managed by Diamond Lee is another excellent performer and has produced top quartile performance over 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 years.
