AIC publishes investment company ISA offers

21st February 2007 Print
At a time when creeping charges are increasingly under the spotlight, the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) has collated information on ISA offers from member investment companies and their managers, covering more than 70 individual investment companies.

With only a month and a half to go before the end of the tax year, investors will have to move quickly if they want to benefit from some of these offers, a number of which have an expiry date. For details, and for a free ISA factsheet, investors can call 0800 085 8520 or visit theaic.co.uk.

Some companies are also offering free ISA and PEP transfers, which are ideal for investors who want to review their portfolio.

Annabel Brodie-Smith, Communications Director, Association of Investment Companies (AIC) said: ‘‘With the 5th April deadline looming, investors need to get their skates on if they are going to take advantage of these enticing offers, covering a wide range of sectors and risk profiles. Investment company ISAs are an ideal way for investors to access a diversified portfolio, in a tax efficient way. With a proud history of low charges, independent boards to represent shareholder interests and the freedom to gear to enhance returns, it’s worth considering an investment company for your shopping list.’’
