Last minute ISAs from Marks & Spencer Money
Great news for ISA savers still planning to invest for this tax year, M&S Money is extending the deadline when it needs to have received ISA applications right up to the new tax year deadline of midnight on April 5th 2007.Applications for maxi ISAs or mini cash and mini stocks and shares ISAs can all benefit from the extended deadline.
Paul Shingler, head of savings and investments at M&S Money commented, "Investors still have over a week to apply for an ISA so they have time to do their homework on which fund suits them. However, if they leave their application to the very last minute M&S Money can still help, our call centre will be open until 8pm and online service will be accepting savings and investments up to midnight on April 5th."
How to apply online:
Online applications accepted no later than 11.59pm on Thursday 5th April, marksandspencer.com\isa. Customers should give themselves at least 30 minutes to apply before the deadline.
What customers need:
Debit card, National Insurance number, personal details
(address and date of birth) and current account details.
Customers must have cleared funds in their bank account
Same process applies to top-ups
Bank details for future Income/Withdrawals
How to apply over the Telephone:
Telephone applications available up to 8pm on Thursday 5th April. Call 0808 0055555 to apply for stocks and shares ISAs or 0800 028 28 24 for mini cash ISAs.

Post Office file cross check for address
AVS (Address Verification systems) to check that the debit card matches your address and bank
Electoral roll check
If any of the above ID checks that M&S perform fail, we will write to the customer requesting other proof of ID, eg. utility bill, passport, driving licence. Failing the AVS check means M&S Money will be unable to process a customer's payment.
