Legal & General cashback ISA season offer
Legal & General is currently offering customers a rebate of the 2008 annual management charge (excluding extra expenses) for lump sum investments of at least £4,000 made into one or more of a selected range of Legal & General ISAs before 05 April 2008.Amanda Brown, Customer Marketing Director, Legal & General said: “We want to urge people to take full advantage of the tax efficient ISA options available to them. With this offer customers can ensure they are maximizing their tax savings whilst also getting a little something back. Our current range of index-tracking funds across the UK and International markets are very competitive and offer a great value for money investment opportunity. This is now the 10th year we have run this offer, the chance to refund the annual management charge on lump sum Index-Tracking ISA investments, has been very popular in previous years and is in addition to our normal Index-Tracking ISA terms of no initial fees or exit fees.”
The offer is available to customers who apply directly to Legal & General before 05 April 2008. Customers can apply online at legalandgeneral.com/nicer or by telephoning the Legal & General Direct call centre - 0800 092 0092. The offer is also being supported with a national advertising campaign. To be eligible for the rebate customers must not cash in part or all of their investment and should hold the same fund without switching until 31 December 2008.
The offer applies to a selected range of nine index-tracking unit trusts when held within an ISA, which are the UK Index, European Index, US Index, Pacific Index, Japan Index, Global Health and Pharmaceutical Index, Global Technology Index, Global 100 Index and the UK 100 Index Trust.
Customers who already have a Legal & General ISA opened during the 2007-8 tax year before 1 January 2008 or who save on a monthly basis will be eligible for this offer providing they top up into one of the selected trusts with a lump sum of £500 or more between 1 January and 5 April 2008.
Annual management charges for the nine index-trackers currently range between 0.5 per cent and 1.0 per cent depending on the trust held within an ISA.
