Abbey opens late for last minute ISA applications

Abbey today announces full details of late opening branches for last minute ISA applications across the UK. Customers will be able to fill in an ISA application in the branches until the branch closing time to use this year’s tax-free ISA allowance.

Reza Attar-Zadeh, Head of Savings at Abbey said: ”We have seen exceptional demand for both our Super ISA and Direct ISA products this year. Accordingly, we are opening a number of branches late for savers who may have left their applications until the last minute. We would always advise savers to fully use their ISA tax free allowance to minimise their potential tax bill.”

For details on local branch opening times customers can call 0845 765 4321. These 205 branches will be open until 1800 hrs for last minute applications.

Customers can apply for the Super ISA or Direct ISA account either by visiting the above branches. Customers can also telephone the customer sales line on 0800 234 6065 or by visiting www.abbey.com to receive an application form. All completed application forms and deposits need to be received by the morning of 5th April in order to be processed for the April 5 tax year deadline.
