BEN launches new website

5th September 2007 Print
BEN, the Automotive Industry Charity, has relaunched its website ben.org.uk and visitors to this new site will be able to read all about the Charity’s work including its latest news, events, jobs and fundraising activities. In addition, there is an extensive list of publications available to download.

Charles Davis, BEN’s Director of Fundraising & Communications commented, “Internet technology is very much the way forward for BEN particularly as we have such a varied audience to captivate and to increase our charity’s awareness we need to encourage more people to visit our site. BEN’s Marketing team gave the designers, Immediate Network, a very clear brief which was to ensure that anyone wanting information on BEN can easily find what they need. We get many requests for information from individuals and these can vary greatly from details on our residential centres, career opportunities, to fundraising activities. We have to ensure that all requests are satisfied.”

Future developments include an on-line shop for the sale of BEN merchandise including its 2007 range of Christmas cards. This will be available very shortly.

In the meantime, one of BEN’s latest initiatives is the launch of the BEN Book of Numbers, which is a unique publication containing up-to-date statistics from across all parts of the automotive industry. This reference book will be an invaluable resource to all those with an interest in the motor industry. Visit BEN’s homepage NOW and click onto the link to find out more and order your copy.
