LTI hails employee’s dedicated charity work A dedicated charity worker at taxi manufacturer LTI Vehicles is retiring after 20 years service.

Rose Jardine (59) has spent the past 20 years combining her work as PA to the company’s operations director while at the same time raising thousands for local charities.

Weekly bonus ball competitions, raffles and donations are all part of Rose’s job as she raises money for charities including Coventry’s Myton Hospice.

Speaking of her achievements, Rose said: “I don’t do anything that anyone else wouldn’t do. I just try my best to help raise money for good causes such as Myton Hospice.”

Mike Brown, LTI’s Operations Director, believes Rose is too modest about her achievements. He said: “Rose has done wonderful work over the last few years in galvanising the staff here to raise money and every Christmas and Easter she organises a raffle and persuades our suppliers, local businesses and staff to donate gifts to raffle off. She will be sorely missed.”

Rose, who was born in Coundon and now lives in Allesley Park, plans to have a well earned rest in retirement.
