Claim cash with Warranty Direct’s pothole promise

Automotive warranty specialist, Warranty Direct, is stepping up its campaign against the blight of potholes on the UK’s roads by offering a cash reward for successful compensation claims.

Any Warranty Direct policy-holder who can prove they have made a successful compensation claim against their local council after damaging their car on a pothole will be eligible for a cashback reward amounting to 25% of their policy price. The reward can be collected by contacting Warranty Direct’s claims department on 0800 097 8831.

In conjunction with road maintenance campaign website, Potholes.co.uk, Warranty Direct has long campaigned for highway authorities around the UK to address the apalling state of the nation’s potholed roads.

Data produced by Warranty Direct last year showed that potholes account for 1 in 5 claims on suspension and wheel damage, costing the UK motoring public a staggering £320 million per year in repairs.

Potholes.co.uk was set up at the beginning of this year to provide motorists with all the information they need to claim compensation, and a forum to highlight the worst road defects in their area. Since the site was launched in February, 20,000 unique users have visited it to post items, pictures and information.
