Further improvements for decisions to GMAC-RFC through MTE

GMAC-RFC and Mortgage Trading Exchange (MTE), have further improved the overall speed and performance for Brokers that use MTE to apply for a decision with GMAC-RFC.

Brokers have experienced an improvement from the increased speed of processing decisions. They have said that the time taken to complete the form within MTE has halved.

Using MTE enables brokers to complete a GMAC-RFC decision form that uses the data input to ask intelligent questions that are relevant to the clients circumstances. For example, if a client has declared they had an adverse credit history in the past, further relevant questions would automatically be asked to obtain a binding decision that is specific to the client.

Julie Gaskin, corporate relations manager commented, “We had received feedback from our brokers saying that the process was slower going through MTE to obtain a decision. This led to many brokers logging on directly to GMAC-RFC website to obtain a decision.

Gaskin continues “With the improvements, brokers should find the overall speed of the performance much better, giving them a choice to use us direct or through MTE.”
