Platform extends online application facility
Platform, the intermediary lender of Britannia, is delighted to announce that its online mortgage application facility ‘clickapplication’ now allows intermediaries to submit applications via packagers as well as the ability to submit business directly to Platform.Clickapplication, which now accounts for over 80 per cent of all Platform’s directly submitted applications, saves valuable time by enabling intermediaries to submit a full application through the company’s website by transferring data from Platform’s online pre-sale KFI and decision tools, ‘clickKFI’ and ‘clickdecision’.
The extension of this service comes a year after the launch of clickapplication and is the result of discussions with Platform’s current packager partners to further enhance the service they are able to provide to their distribution.
Keys features of the new functionality within clickapplication:
Ability to pass online KFIs, decisions and applications from intermediary to packager, improving data quality and reducing the need to re-key information
Satellite packager business can be accepted
Intermediaries can see when a case has been submitted to Platform by a packager
Tailoring of information to allow packagers to process cases more efficiently
Commenting on the launch, Sean McDonnell, Platform’s Head of eCommerce said: “Our clickapplication facility has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response since launching last year with over 80 per cent of applications now being submitted online. As a lender that fully supports both direct and packaged business, an extension of this service for packagers was a natural step for us. We feel this functionality will lend enormous time saving benefits to our packaging partners and we look forward to working closely with them in the future to further extend our eCommerce functionality.”
Chris Warner of Jigsaw Packaging, a member of Exclusive Connections said: “We have been using Platform’s clickapplication facility for a short while and are delighted with the results. Clear navigation and ease of use are major incentives as are the obvious time saving benefits. Platform has clearly taken the needs of the packagers into account during development and has launched a top class value added service.”
David Morgan Director of Retail Operations at TFC Homeloans said: “From the receipt of our first ‘clickapplication’ yesterday, it took just twenty five minutes to produce an offer. At TFC we recognise that IT developments such as this are key to enabling us to offer our brokers the best possible service. We are proud to be working in partnership with Platform to help create much leaner and ‘greener’ processes.”
In addition to these benefits, Platform’s complete suite of online systems has been modified to accept business from intermediaries submitting Buy to Let cases only.
