HSBC lowers the cost of shopping for a Spanish mortgage

HSBC customers who are looking to buy a property in Spain can now take advantage of preferential terms on Spanish mortgages and banking services via HSBC’s exclusive Spanish partner, Solbank – Spain’s multilingual bank.

Variable mortgage interest rate at 1% above EURIBOR for the life of the loan – normally 1.25% above EURIBOR

Mortgage arrangement fee up to 1% maximum – normally 1.25%

Free credit and debit card – normally €43 per year

Free inward international cash transfers and outwards of up to €50,000

The new service is aimed specifically at UK nationals who want to buy property in Spain, the Balearics and the Canary Islands, either as a holiday home or a permanent residence.
