Yorkshire Building Society changes to mortgage fee structure

Yorkshire Building Society will no longer charge new customers a Mortgage Exit Administration Fee (MEAF).

This change will affect customers who receive their mortgage offer on, or after, 1st August 2007.

The Society has also revised its mortgage application fee structure as part of a review of overall product pricing. Most fees are payable on completion of the mortgage but the Society is introducing a new fixed mortgage fee of £90 which will not be paid until the mortgage is redeemed.
