Top service award for the Coventry

Coventry Building Society has been awarded the top accolade for customer service by Lending Strategy magazine at this year’s Lending Excellence Awards.

The Platinum Award, in the high street category, was presented to the Coventry at an awards ceremony held in London today.

The Lending Excellence Awards are based on a survey of 8,000 mortgage customers by consumer research consultancy, Capital Blue Limited in conjunction with Lending Strategy Magazine.

The market research measures customer opinion of their mortgage provider by comparing their expectations of customer service with their actual experience across key aspects of the mortgage application process.

David Stewart, chief executive of Coventry Building Society says: "It's fantastic news that the Coventry has achieved the Platinum Award. This follows our Gold Award last year and shows our commitment to constantly improving the service we give our customers. I am delighted that we have been recognised ahead of our competitors and have set new standards for customer service in our sector.
