BEN Appears on Public TV
BEN, the Automotive Industry Charity has launched a film about its welfare and care work on Public TV as part of an ongoing communications strategy, to increase awareness. This film depicts the often unseen welfare work undertaken by the charity. A number of stories relating to BEN’s beneficiaries have been used to highlight the diversity of help which the charity gives in times of need.Public TV was launched in 2006 by TEN Alps Plc, a factual media company, which provides and manages content on TV, radio, online TV and print. Co-Founder Bob Geldof today acts as a non Executive Board Director. Public TV brings together videos from a wide range of government, private and public sector organisations, and is keen to help charities, such as BEN, promote its important work to a wider audience.
Charles Davis, BEN’s Director of Fundraising and Communications commented, “I am delighted to have been approached by Public TV to promote BEN’s film as I am a great advocate of communicating through the new media channels which are being utilised so heavily today. This is just another example of how technology can help us as a charity increase our awareness.”
