ProTyre rolls Michelin Energy into stock ProTyre, UK independent tyre retailer, has announced that it will be stocking the all-new Michelin Energy tyre. “This tyre is special”, comments ProTyre, “we are delighted to be offering motorists the next wave in revolutionary tyres at competitive prices.”

But why is the Michelin Energy tyre so special? Michelin Energy has been designed for city cars, MPV's and family saloons. It has the all-round benefits of 25 percent higher durability then all other tyres on the European market, a higher fuel efficiency that could save motorists up to £50 in fuel costs, and is environmentally friendly – reducing CO2 emissions by up to 150kg. Nearly 75 percent of all car tyres today are under-inflated, resulting in an estimated extra cost of over £2.2 billion in extra fuel to UK motorists and an additional 5.5 million tons of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere.

“ProTyre understands the need to reduce carbon emissions, and thinks that through lower fuel consumption and longer durability, these new Michelin Energy tyres hit the mark on all three counts. The incentive for ProTyre customers is to save money and help the environment – an all-round package that we are delighted to offer our customers”, says ProTyre.
