Jaguar XK150 An immaculate 1960 Jaguar XK150 has scooped the top prize at the 2007 Meguiar's Club Showcase. The event, which was a major feature of the recent Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham, saw the flawless Jaguar voted as this year's overall Meguiar's "Best in Show" by a panel of independent judges.

Finished in Old English White with red leather interior, the XK150 S Type Roadster, owned by John Brewster, had already been crowned as the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club overall national concours winner earlier this year. It featured in the Showcase with fifteen other show winning entrants, each one having been awarded the top honour at one of this year's national club shows by fellow club members.

Meguiar's, an official partner to the NEC show for a second consecutive year, also had a team of 'detailers' out in force assisting TV motoring expert Mike Brewer, with his daily live "Wheeler Dealer" show. This live show featured the Meguiar's team who, along with other exhibitors, were challenged to work their magic on a number of different classic vehicles. The Meguiar's team was set the task of reviving the paint and bodywork of the cars, each of which was then given away to one lucky show visitor to drive away.

Steve King, Meguiar's UK Managing Director explained: "The Classic Motor Show is now our biggest event in the UK and is the perfect place to exhibit the Meguiar's Club Showcase. This year's event was a real spectacle and it was great to see so many people over the weekend enjoying everything that the classic car scene has to offer. The Meguiar's Showcase features a fantastic and diverse selection of vehicles, and we are proud to continue working closely with the show organisers and our many friends from various car clubs across the UK."

The Meguiar's Club Showcase returns to the Classic Motor Show at the NEC next year from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2008. For information on the Classic Motor Show, visit necclassicmotorshow.com.
