Making the MercedesService Card even more attractive
Thanks to an agreement with the automotive supplier and tyre manufacturer Continental, customers with a MercedesService Card can now call on the ContiBreakdownService, the tyre service provided by ContiEuroService, which operates in 24 countries throughout Europe. This applies to customers with the normal MercedesService Card (to be used solely within the Mercedes-Benz service network) or the MercedesService Card with UTA Full Service benefits. The new agreement officially came into force in September 2007.Processing of tyre breakdowns is straightforward and the service runs around the clock 365 days a year. The MercedesService Card customer reports the breakdown to the Customer Assistance Centre (the Mercedes-Benz emergency system), which in turn, notifies the respective national ContiEuroService organisation, thus eliminating any potential language barriers.
Costs for the service are fully transparent with invoicing according to fixed prices, meaning MercedesService Card customers are spared any unpleasant surprises. All services provided are documented on a Service Report and payments are processed without any cash involved. Continental's DriveOn Time Guarantee also ensures minimum downtimes.
Continental's ContiBreakdownService is available in the following countries:
A, B, CH, CZ, D, DK, E, EST, F, FI, GB, H, I, IRL, L, LT, LV, N, NL, P, PL, S, SK, UA
