Claus revs up for Christmas rush at Brands Hatch

Visitors to Brands Hatch couldn’t quite believe their eyes this week as they witnessed fledgling racing car driver, Nicholas Claus, put a variety of cars through their paces as he enjoyed the circuit’s range of driving gift experiences.

Decked out in his familiar red and white race overalls, Claus didn’t waste any time in getting to grips with the Formula Brands single-seater racecar. Following in the footsteps of Stirling Moss, Nigel Mansell and Jenson Button, he clocked up impressive lap times around the famous Kent track in the RaceMaster experience.

Later in the day, Claus experienced the thrill of the off road arena as he tackled the RallyMaster in his Peugeot 206 before rounding off the day on the challenging 4x4 MudMaster course in a Nissan Pathfinder.

Claus, whose normal mode of transport is twelve reindeer and a sleigh, had a fantastic time at the UK’s premier motorsport venue.

He commented: “Brands Hatch invited me down to try out some of their famous motorsport gift experiences ahead of the Christmas rush, and I’ve had a fantastic time. I’ve learnt a lot about handling and performance, and plan to put it into practice and make sure all my deliveries are made on time this year!”
