The UK’s best company cars revealed

22nd January 2008 Print
The Ford Mondeo took the BusinessCar Awards’ Business Car of the Year prize at an exclusive ceremony for the fleet industry’s top executives – the people responsible for running the cars powering British business.

The BusinessCar Awards are the only awards in the market that are solely voted for by the readership. This makes them the most influential in the business car arena.

Alongside the Mondeo winning Business Car of the Year, Audi took two headline awards, for Manufacturer of the Year and User-chooser Car of the Year for the A5 and a further four car awards. The other headline awards went to AA Business Services, which won Service Supplier of the Year, and the Highways Agency, which scooped the Environment Award for its hard shoulder running scheme.

Tristan Young, BusinessCar editor-in-chief, said: “The Mondeo’s win demonstrates the massive step forward Ford has achieved with the new Mondeo, particularly in terms of quality and refinement.”

“The BusinessCar Awards are a barometer for the company car market and the Highways Agency’s Environment Award win shows how important green issues are to UK fleets.”
