More support for TyreSafe

Toyo Tyres (UK) has become the latest tyre company in the UK to pledge support to TyreSafe. The company joins the growing list of organisations from both within and outside the tyre industry to sign up to support the tyre safety activities undertaken by TyreSafe.

“We have been impressed with the impact that TyreSafe has had in the area of tyre safety – an area important to the Toyo Sales & Marketing programme. And so we felt that we should offer our own help and support to raising the awareness of this vital road safety subject”, said Martin Sutherland, Toyo Tyre’s General Manager - Sales.

The decision by Toyo Tyre (UK) to support TyreSafe comes only a month after the announcement that Yokohama, Group Tyre and tyre inflation equipment manufacturer PCL also agreed to become supporters.

TyreSafe has a comprehensive programme of tyre safety activity planned for this year including the second tyre safety month campaign to be held in October.
