Zurich sponsors IHT planning tool

6th September 2007 Print
Zurich has sponsored a new handbook on Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning entitled “Inheritance Tax Simplified”.

Written by inheritance tax specialist Tony Granger, the new handbook will provide financial advisers and their clients with a single source of reference for IHT planning.

Created with the needs of advisors and clients in mind, the comprehensive handbook is designed to guide readers through the complex maze of regulation, law and tax. As well as providing detailed reference information, the book also contains practical tips on how to plan effectively for wealth preservation whilst mitigating and reducing inheritance tax.

Commenting on the launch of his latest book, author Tony Granger said, “By 2010, it is predicted that over 10 million families will be affected by inheritance tax, making this one of the most important areas of financial planning. This book will help financial advisers and consumers plan effective IHT mitigation strategies, ensuring that people have the means to provide for their families and future generations for years to come.”

The book also provides advisers and their clients with detailed information on how to protect business assets as well as personal assets such as the family home.

Paul Wright, Zurich’s Investment Management Director said, “While IHT used to be a tax on the very rich it is now a growing problem for many people with modest estates. The complexity of the issues, however, means that those looking to protect themselves against any potential tax liability will almost certainly have to seek professional help. This book will help to simplify some of those issues as well as acting as a valuable reference tool for advisers engaged in IHT planning.”

Priced at £14.99, copies of the book can be obtained from leading bookshops or by contacting the author on 01743 851485.
