LV= wins ‘Individual Income Protection' award

Insurance and investment group LV= has won the Individual Income Protection category at this year's COVER Excellence Awards.

The annual awards, now in their sixth year, are the benchmark for the health and protection insurance industry and voted for by COVER readers (principally financial advisers).

The judges were particularly impressed with the quality of the innovative new LV= Mortgage & Lifestyle Protection (MLP) product. MLP combines the comprehensive cover of income protection with the simpler processes associated with Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance. It offers cover against accident, sickness and unemployment via level mortgage payment protection and the additional choice of level or index-linked living expenses protection, all under one plan.

As a protection specialist, LV= has also recently announced a brand new ‘large case' service across its range of protection products. This service has been designed for financial advisers' high net worth clients, with turnaround time reduced by over half during the initial pilot.
