NurburgMotorsport gains instant world-wide recognition Anglo German business partners M.Scheer and K.Harris are very pleased and proud to announce that the official opening of the new Quiddelbach Headquarters, near the Nurburgring Germany, will be held over the Easter holiday period with many activities and motorsport attractions all open to the public. Starting on Saturday 22nd March 2008 at 12.00 noon there will be a short official opening ceremony.

The merits contained within the initial Business Plan have been recognised by the Federal German Government, Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG and Thum GmbH to fast track the creation, support and formation of the new company, NurburgMotorsport GmbH. The company provides a wide range of secure client car storage facilities, automotive service and repair, race driver training, racing team management, race car preparation all of which are designed and built for use on the extreme conditions of the Nurburgring.

The first NurburgMotorsport clients have come from as far away as Estonia and Iceland, together with many other European countries including Eire and the United Kingdom. Worldwide internet visitors are close to approaching 100 people per day to the newly created web-site, which can be viewed at nurburgmotorsport.com with some more enquires are being received from the USA and Israel.

NurburgMotorsport has also been awarded a significant order to build a series of dedicated racing / track prepared cars. These brand new cars are based on the exciting and world acclaimed new Suzuki Swift Sport, and are initially for exclusive use on the Nurburgring.

As a winning VLN Racing Team Manger Manfred Scheer, a former mechanic on the Toyota World Rally Team, who also grew up at "The Ring" and who has worked as a Marshal on the Nurburgring for over 10 years, says “to be quick at the Nurburgring you need only three things, the correct tyres, good brakes and a perfect car setup – this is what we have proved we can deliver to our customers. Using brand new cars in the Suzuki Swift Sport will give customers more confidence and safety on the Ring. Also all my Service staff can speak German and English. This means you can easily speak directly to people about anything to do with your car. We also offer video conferencing over the internet. Living here at the Nurburgring day by day we are always near the phone .........even on Sundays”.

Business Partner Ken Harris says” The Quiddelbach Headquarters is ideally situated between the two main public entrances to the Ring. By joining the Ring at the Adenau Bridge within two minutes you can buy a lap ticket at the much less crowded automated kiosk and also avoid the long traffic jams which at peak times can be over 45 minutes at the other busier main public entrance. Parking your car and getting something to eat can also be nightmare there as well. You may forgo half a lap but what’s a few euro for that extra thrill, time saving and a chance to warm up the tyres for that extra safe lap!

Our high security compound with, “state of the art” electronic surveillance systems and infra-red operated security gates are perfect for both the long or short stay customers. Owners of highly prized vehicles can simply book a private garage for that extra luxury and peace of mind overnight”.

Nurburglodges is also a new way to enhance your visit to the Nurburgring and the beautiful surrounding area by offering a complete range of accommodation solutions which you can book over the internet. You can find more about this at nurburglodges.com and for the very best Nurburgring photos and photography, please check out nurpics.com for your photos ready when you return home or download the images directly to your laptop at the Quiddelbach HQ Wireless Internet access point.

We are also in advanced stages of discussions to facilitate the same type of automotive services to the biker community who form an important part of the motorsport community at the Ring.
Our experience in VLN Race Team Management, together with the newly formed accommodation offerings may enable the Company to further expand on its present catering experience, particularly at Race meetings where some well respected Race teams are resorting to fast food to fuel their team up. Catering host Pia Scheer says” When a recent accommodation client posted on an internet forum that it was the “Best German breakfast he had ever had”, it makes it all worthwhile and I was so pleased”.

Sadly last year statistics showed that almost 80% of the incidents on the Ring involved English speaking drivers. We have recognised the genuine need and provide driver training but also an additional emergency assistance by offering a full Nurburgring car recovery and arbitration service. With the Company’s local contacts, car recovery authorisation can be negotiated on the spot with Nurburgring GmbH (the owners and operators of the Nurburgring) to release the damaged vehicle from the Ring to our secure Quiddelbach compound pending damage reports.

NurburgMotorsport can provide all the aspects needed for having an enjoyable and safe stay at the Ring. From travel booking, airport pickups, accommodation, servicing and repair, Race Team Management, Race / Driver training, not to mention the cars i.e. store yours or rent a brand new one or simply lock up that priceless work of art overnight and then download high quality photos of your laps as well!

Ken Harris continues ”Single company integration across a range of products and services is name of the game. Choose what you want and by booking these services with NurburgMotorsport you can be assured of high quality, a single point of contractual responsibility and save money to then spend on many more safe laps”.

NurburgMotorsport would also like to take this opportunity to express its thanks to the many suppliers for their assistance in recent weeks for the preparation of the Quiddelbach Headquarters.
We especially wish all our customers a safe and exhilarating experience when visiting the Ring and also the beautiful surrounding area of the Nurburgring here in Germany.

We now look forward to the start of the new 2008 racing season and beyond into 2009 which will also see the final completion of the of new multi-million euro expansion of the Nurburgring as part of much published “Das Projekt 2009”.
