Manchester fashion label launches ready to wear collection

Manchester based designer, Fatz Kassim, has launched her first ready to wear collection from her unique label - ZuZu Couture. The ex Project Catwalk contestants' first capsule collection is inspired by the couture pieces designed from her Northern Quarter boutique. The range - for men and woman - includes t-shirts, skirts, jackets and evening wear.

ZuZu Couture launched in 2002, offering made to measure and limited edition pieces, which were available in selected independent boutiques in the north of England. The designs were an instant hit with the movers and shakers of in the city and an edgy Manchester label was born.

Since then both label and designer have gone from strength to strength.
Fatz appeared on Project Catwalk in 2005 and her individual style shone through and gained her respect with industry maverick's, such as designer Julian Macdonald and Grazia's Paula Reed.
