Shopping The Trends Online

Shopping the Trend, a website dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s busy online shoppers, has announced the launch of sister site Searching The Trend (searchingthetrend.com). Searching the Trend is a unique shopping engine that specializes in luxury catalogues, with a focus on fashion, home, gift and gourmet trends.

The site provides a searchable and comprehensive catalogue of over 60,000 products from luxury stores. There is also a weekly Trend Watch commentary, designed to help shoppers find the right trend for the right occasion. A wide variety of items are profiled, ranging from gold shoes and velvet apparel to red tableware and holiday gifts.

Shopping the Trend (shoppingthetrend.com) was launched in 2006 as a fashion website for trendy shoppers. The site lists lifestyle and fashion trends and the designers and deals which provide them. Daily and monthly trends are reviewed, with a focus on clothing, jewelry, makeup, shoes and accessories for women.

According to Shopping the Trend founder and web designer T. Schandl, "If you love fashion magazines, you will enjoy this site. The objective is to review all the trends we can find, then use our online shopping know-how to pair the trend to the items in the shops." Products profiled include formal and casual wear from international designers. In addition to the numerous trends included, there is a regular advice column written by a guest designer.

"In Shopping The Trend," Schandl points out, "we actually hand-pick fashion and styles to fit specific trends. In Searching the Trend, our sister site, we now give readers access to a manageable form of luxury catalogue shopping, all done online." The recommended trends section makes it easy to choose, and offer shoppers the latest items as they become available, ranging from designer scarves and leopard prints to gourmet truffles and champagne.
