Designer boutique opens at Cowley Manor
The contemporary country hotel Cowley Manor will open its flagship store ‘The Village Shop’ in July, complementing the relaxed, luxurious ethos of Cowley Manor. The first luxury hotel shop of its kind in the Cotswolds, The Village Shop will offer sumptuous goodies including clothes and handbags from the latest designers and beautiful things for the home; luxurious bath and beauty products; stunning contemporary jewellery and fun toys for children. The Village Shop combines high-quality and stylish products with friendly, personalised and relaxed service, whilst its location in the glorious Cotswolds gives visitors a beautiful setting in which to shop.
The Village Shop is located in the renovated stables with views over the sunken outdoor pool of C-Side Spa. Visitors can experience the Cotswolds in all its glory; browse through the diverse products at The Village Shop; meander through the surrounding heritage-listed gardens; enjoy a pampering massage; or have a relaxing lunch or dinner at the Hotel restaurant.
Fashion: The Village Shop boasts leading labels such as French clothing brand American Vintage, Goat, Antik Batik, 120% Linen, Anya Hindmarch bags and accessories, the luxury cult Italian lingerie label Cosabella, Marmalade Cashmere, Melissa Odabash swimwear, Blink Beachware, Ernest Sewn jeans and Ben Simon shoes.
Jewellery: Pieces by English designers Philippa Holland and Zara Simon, both Hollywood favourites (commissioned by The Rolling Stones to design jewellery for their tour), will make up the jewellery section. The Village Shop is also the first outlet outside of the USA to feature URTH Gold, an eco-luxe jewellery brand, which redefines luxury with an added ethical commitment. Mined and made in Bolivia, URTH supports small scale miners who rely on gold mining to support their families. The collection that Pippa Small has designed for Urth will be sold at The Village Shop.
Books: Luxury coffee table books by TeNeues, ranging from Ultimate Design books and Art books to Collector’s Editions.
Homeware: An array of European designers - very unique and unusual for every room in the house. Unusual pots, brushes and vases for the kitchen, beautiful cushions for the bed, stunning Italian accessories for the dining table… and not forgetting beds, collars and leads from Mungo and Maud for the dog’s room.
Children: An original selection of clothes, toys and books sourced from around the world.
Menswear: A colourful collection of Vilebrequin swimwear and linens, a new collection of ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ cashmere in an array of wonderful colours and fun gadgets from cameras to watches.
