The exciting new 42 linear feet permanent shop-in-shop is situated at Topshop’s boutique level on the basement floor. Designed with a quirky and eclectic vibe with elements taken from a vintage boudoir and houses a selection of key pieces from the brand’s trend inspired AW08 clothing range.

Retail Director of Hooch Greig Fowler says: “We are tremendously proud to have been appointed by Topshop to join so many other successful brands and their own exceptional retail offer within this fantastic store environment. The retailer is globally recognised as a style setter by women of all ages and backgrounds. This is a fantastic launch pad for Hooch to reach a new audience. We hope to build on this relationship and establish strong links for future for both parties involved.”

Hooch embraces the coming season with a vibrant collection of on-trend separates destined to fly off the shelves and into women’s wardrobes. With a strong emphasis on dark gothic vintage styling, get ready to ‘expect the unexpected’ from Hooch over the forthcoming months. The catwalk inspired collection infuses Hooch individuality with a mix of signature prints and quirky details to create your own eclectic style.

The AW08 collection is made of three key themes covering all the fundamental and aspiring trends ensuring you are one step ahead in the fashion stakes: Choose from ‘My Fair Lady’ – an iconic look at elegance and ladylike chic with simple tea dresses and pussy bow blouses, the look is effortless yet smart. The plaid pea coat is a ‘must have’ for winter chic. Double breasted with a structured tailored collar and tapered in at the waist the ‘Princess’ coat is the ultimate cover up and completes the simplest of outfits. Wools and tweeds echo equestrian traditional country living in rich jewel colourways; a welcome alternative to classic black. Modern and sophisticated, My Fair Lady is grown up elegance at its best.

‘Gothic Curiosity’ is bang on trend for this season with a mix of vintage inspired dark romantic styles. Prepare to revisit your youth as glam goth comes swinging back into fashion. This trend is all about statement pieces with bold prints adding drama and excitement to simple shapes. Punk it up in the ‘Grand National’ black and gold batwing knit. Team with some skinnies or inject some colour into your look and add this season’s essential accessory; the coloured opaque, as seen on the catwalk at Luella. For a modern alternative to the LBD choose the black linen ‘Rod Dress’ with its subtle detailing and ruched hem line, the look is all about outlandish attitude.

Finally ‘Global Traveller’ offers an energetic folksy injection to winter styling. Casual oversized shirt dresses emerge as the hot favourite this season, while the plaid cowgirl ‘Ontario’ top with frill sleeve detail is perfect with jeans for a great daywear look. For a more glam evening look choose the peasant inspired yellow ‘Goodwood’ top with its billowing sleeves and pleating detail.

The Hooch look can be described as charmingly haphazard and overtly feminine - there are no hard and fast rules, only those which are meant to be broken. The Hooch focus is on producing vintage-inspired pieces with a feminine feel, driven on the ethos ‘Expect the Unexpected’.

The collection has gained instant recognition among style leaders and industry experts. Hooch was quoted as the must have brand of the season by model and style icon Daisy Lowe. Today, the Hooch collection is available internationally in both multiple retailers and boutiques throughout the world including House of Fraser, USC in the UK. The future for Hooch promises to be exciting as the arrival into Topshop marks a new era for the clothing brand.
