Top hair and make-up artists head to Clothes Show Live in London

The Clothes Show Live makes its London debut at Excel this Friday, May 29 and top hairstylists Errol Douglas, Tara Smith and Michael Barnes and make-up artist Ariane Poole will be on the stages sharing their expertise.

Errol and Tara are also nominated for Celebrity Hairdresser of the year, announced during the Clothes Show Style Awards hosted by supermodel Erin O’Connor and TV presenter George Lamb (7pm, May 29).

The Style Stage, hosted by Louise Roe, features High Street fashion presentations for S/S09 in association with New Look and presented by the critically acclaimed Hilary Alexander as well as A/W 09 trend reports in association with Drapers magazine. The stage will also feature live hair and make-up demonstrations from a selection of handpicked names, forecasting key trends.

Michael Barnes – renowned for his stunning imagery which ranges from the sublimely beautiful to the ‘how does he do it’ avant-garde, and everything else in between. Michael has shot under water with Keira Knightley and Lily Cole among others, worked on Britain’s Next Top Model, and created all the hair for the Clothes Show’s imagery and in the ad campaign everywhere from buses and tubes to billboards and TV.
