Motorpoint’s 10th birthday score – ten out of ten
Motorpoint, UK car supermarket group, is ten years old this week. To celebrate, on Saturday (5 April) two lucky early bird customers at each of its regional sales centres – in Derby, Burnley, Glasgow, Peterborough and Newport – will get thousands of pounds in extra savings on two specific new Renault cars.Of course big savings are nothing new for Motorpoint customers. The last ten years have seen them pocket hundreds of millions of pounds in comparison with the recommended retail prices on franchised dealer forecourts.
And that’s not the only customer advantage in buying from Motorpoint rather than from a franchised dealer. In fact there’s at least one for every year of Motorpoint’s existence. The Top Ten looks like this:
More choice
Competing brand models for comparison on one site
Low prices - more car for your money
The right money for your part exchange
Transparent pricing: screen price is the price you pay
A no pressure environment
A female friendly environment
Award-winning online buying experience
Speed and convenience
No waiting lists
Motorpoint managing director David Shelton commented: “When we started ten years ago, we wanted to change the way the British public saw and did car buying. What we are offering today is car buying evolved, and that evolution has been driven by what our customers are telling us they want.
“Motorpoint may become bigger, more diverse and even more high tech in its next ten years. But we won’t be changing what has always been our basic offer to our customers – high quality new and nearly-new cars at prices that have to be seen to be believed.”
