Aveda wins at Pure Beauty Awards

On 25th November at a glittering star-studded event at the Merchant Taylors Hall in the heart of the city of London, Aveda’s Sun Care Hair & Body Cleanser was named ‘Best New Bath and Shower Launch’ of the year.

The Pure Beauty Awards 2008 celebrate the best beauty products launched over the past 12 months and are voted for exclusively by beauty retailers, who are responsible for stocking and selling beauty products in the UK. The evening was hosted by Rick Edwards, Channel Four Presenter and DJ, and was attended by over 300 members of the beauty industry. Celebrities included Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh from Girls’ Aloud.

As usual, competition for a place in the coveted shortlist was fierce, with over 1,000 entries being whittled down to 200, across 35 categories covering all areas of beauty. Categories cover every sector of the beauty industry, across both mass and premium markets.
