Clinique launches special edition moisturiser

15th September 2009 Print
Clinique launches special edition moisturiser Now in its 16th year, Clinique’s support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign continues by celebrating Clinique’s global favourite Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

The limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness “Special Edition” Dramatically Differently Moisturizing Lotion has been dressed with a ‘hint of pink’ this October in the form of a gorgeous pink ribbon charm bracelet. Exclusively designed for Breast Cancer Awareness, this is the must have for any Clinique fan this October.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is formulated to have the same balance of oil and water as the skin's own natural balance. It is the perfect drink for every thirsty skin and the final stage of the Clinique 3-Step Skin Care System. Absorbed into your skin fast and thoroughly, it leaves no trace of surface residue.

For each “Special Edition” Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion sold in Selfridges during October 2009, £2 will be donated in total to charity. (£1 will be donated by Clinique and £1 donated by Selfridges to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for its breast cancer research study at the Royal Marsden Institute of Cancer Research in the UK).

Statistics tell us that one in nine women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point during her lifetime. It is as important today as it was 16 years ago to raise awareness by wearing your pink ribbon during October, to examine yourself regularly and if in doubt to seek advice. It is vital that research is funded for that still elusive cure for breast cancer.

October 2009 is the 16th year since the Estee Lauder Companies founded the Pink Ribbon and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the UK. In addition to creating the pink ribbon and distributing it in over 40 countries Evelyn Lauder founded the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in 1993 as an independent not for profit organisation dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and genetical research worldwide. The BCRF has so far raised more than $170 million for breast cancer research. For more information about the BCRF go to bcrfcure.org.
