Amazon.co.uk customers are also turning to healthy eating guru Jason Vale to help them get the most out of the miserable winter months - sales of his 7lbs in 7 Days Super Juice Diet book have increase by 1080% in the past fortnight. Amazon.co.uk customers require accessories for their new work out regimes too, and the Grip Trainer Powerball has seen a 900% uplift in sales, along with the Reebok Gym Ball seeing almost a 500% increase.

Despite all the new products entering the charts in 2007, it is in fact a self-help book released in 2005 that has dislodged Harry Potter's grip on the top two spots of the Amazon.co.uk books Hot 100 list. Paul McKenna's I Can Make You Thin (Book and CD) is currently outselling the adult edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, making it the best selling health and fitness book in January for the second year running.

All that hard work isn't going to waste either - Amazon.co.uk customers are monitoring their progress with the help of the Weightwatchers Easy Read LCD Precision Electronic Scale, currently at number one in the fitness chart after a 1000% increase in sales since the beginning of the year.

The trend for detoxing hasn't just been restricted to improving physically - the surprise revelation has been the abundance of intellectually stimulating products sold since the beginning of the year.
