Nothing In This World For Paris Hilton

9th November 2006 Print
Paris Hilton Paris Hilton follows her Top 5 debut single 'Stars Are Blind' with the release of 'Nothing In This World' this week, taken from her self-titled debut album.

Written and produced by Dr. Luke (Pink, Kelly Clarkson) and co-written by Shep Solomon - winner of an Ivor Novello award for Natalie Imbruglia's 'Shiver', the hook-laden, pure-pop of 'Nothing In This World' is indicative of Hilton’s style.

The debut album features five songs co-written by Paris Hilton, including 'Fightin' Over Me' featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss and the infectious opener 'Turn It Up'. Other collaborators that feature on the album include Scott Storch, who acts as both executive producer and writer/producer on much of the album, Rob Cavallo, JR Totem, Greg Wells and Kara DioGuardi. The album is completed with a unique interpretation of the Rod Stewart classic 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy.'

The album is also available as a special package that includes an additional DVD directed by Adria Petty. The DVD includes a making of the album feature, exclusive behind the scenes footage and interviews with both Paris and the key producers of the album.

"I've always sang and played the piano and the violin since I was six," said Paris. "But I was always too shy to go into a recording booth. I learnt to get over that and wrote the beats and lyrics for my album."
